You are responsible for:

• Coordinate monitor and execute of the current funding Innovation & Research project
• Design and conduct research related to the food technology, ingredients sourcing and functionality and consumer trends
• Communicate findings, business reviews, learning and teaching materials
• Utilise research and review literature to initiate robust innovation projects and enhance existing product formulas
• Use appropriate tools to facilitate concept and prototype evaluation (creation and presentation)
• Set up evaluation methods, screening, research tools, and reports to improve the integrated R&D activities
• Provide technical experience to support and conduct sensory testing using descriptive analysis sensory techniques
• Participate in and assist with innovation sessions and ongoing work to build and strengthen pipeline

Your Education & Qualifications are:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Food Science or Food Engineering, Nutrition and Dietetics, Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar
• Preferable experience in research and development in food sector
• Prior experience of execution of funding research projects
• Prior experience in statistical analysis and design of experiments, as well as knowledge of food ingredients functionality
