ActionAid Hellas(AAH) is searching for anAccounting Coordinatorto join a global movement of committed individuals, working to further human rights and defeat poverty.

The Accounting Coordinator will:

  • Ensure alignment with International Chart of Accounts for all transactions
  • Act as an active member of the Financial Management Framework (FMF) committee and make recommendations on improving FMF procedures
  • Actively participate to the interim and final internal auditing control as required
  • Communicate with suppliers/external partners to receive the appropriate documentation (eg. Invoice, agreements)
  • Monthly review of contracts financial obligations and communicate any pending issues to procure owners
  • Liaise with procurement department for the update of contracts file for tax purposes
  • Register all contractual data in the ERP system to track their progress and inform colleagues for the end-date

Requirements:

We are currently recruiting a dynamic professional with an academic degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field and at least three (3) years of working experience in a relevant position to organise and administer AAH financial and accounting entries and ensure compliance with the Greek Accounting & Taxation authorities. We are looking for candidates with demonstrated experience in IFRS, Local Accounting Legislation, Financial Statements financial reporting, and in use of ERP Systems. Additionally, Project Management skills, excellent organisational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are required.
